I believe every website should tell a story. Whether it’s an educational platform or an e-commerce site, my goal to the user is to create an experience that is both intuitive and memorable.
I’ve recently adopted utilizing design systems to build style guides for my web design workflow. It keeps the aesthetics neatly organized in a design library, making sitewide edits consistent and efficient. I also find it’s a seamless transition from the wireframe into the prototyping phase.
I studied web design & development at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where I was introduced to a myriad of scripting languages. Beyond basic HTML/CSS & JavaScript, I seldom write code anymore, however, my background experience allows me to better understand the possibilities (and limitations) in creating a web experience. This knowledge base syncs communication with my team of designers and development engineers.
My goal is to make a website a destination that tells a brand or product’s story. Interactivity is essential. As internet speeds have accelerated across all devices, utilizing video & 3D have been keystones in creating an experience that best promotes conversion rates.
